Today I completed 2 years of study.
It has been a joy, a challenge, enriching and isolating all at the same time.
The head, the heart and the hand have all been involved in creating this work.
The objective was clear, to demonstrate the value of art, arts education and artistic practice.
Art enables human connection and communication. Enables us to make meaning of our lived experience.
Art values emotion and encourages empathy.
It permits us to cross boundaries and borders and helps us understand the world from different perspectives.
Art is intrinsic to our human experience.
Thank you for all the support and understanding you have all given me.
